Book Talks
Each trimester students will be writing and presenting book talks about books they have read and loved. Book talks are an excellent way for students to talk and share book recommendations with classmates.
One week in prior to a student presenting they will be given a book talk template sheet and a rubric for this assignment. These forms can also be found by scrolling to the bottom of this page. Book talk sheets will be completed at home. They may be typed or neatly hand-written.
Book talks will be graded according the rubric found below. After students give their presentations, book talk sheets will be placed into our class binder in our classroom library. This binder will be a place for other students to find book recommendations from their peers.
